Consignment · Cape Town
We list it, test it, find a serious buyer, and settle with you. No meetings with strangers. No three months sitting in a garage. No argument about whether it arrived working.
Enquire nowEvery unit is powered up and tested before it goes live. Any cosmetic or functional fault is documented, per item, on the product page. Buyers know exactly what they're getting — which means fewer returns for you.
Send us the details and we'll come back with what we think it'll actually sell for and what our cut is — no obligation. Agree first. List second. You're not signing anything you haven't seen.
We settle after delivery to the buyer — not on sale. That window lets obvious faults surface before the money moves. After that, it's yours. No follow-ups, no chasing.
What we take
What we won't take
Condition grading
Vague disclaimers don't work under the Consumer Protection Act, so we don't use them. Each unit gets a condition grade with every individual fault listed — which protects both of us.
Boxed, complete, minimal hours. Warranty may still apply. The unit you'd be happy to unwrap in front of a client.
Honest studio or tour use. Everything functions. Cosmetic wear listed individually — a rack ear bend, a scuff on the lid, a missing knob cap. No surprises.
Named faults, missing accessories, or real cosmetic damage. Every issue itemised on the listing. Priced to reflect what it actually is.
How it works
The alternative is Gumtree — three months of tyre-kickers, meeting strangers with R65,000 of gear in your car, and no recourse if they claim it arrived broken. We sell certainty. This is how that works.
Tell us what you've got
Send us the make, model, age, and a couple of honest photos. Tell us what you think it's worth. Use the contact form and select "I want to sell or consign gear."
We assess, grade, and agree a rate
We bench test the unit, grade it honestly, and come back with a proposed listing price and our commission. No obligation. No offence if you'd rather sell it yourself.
We list it, we sell it, you get paid
Once a buyer is confirmed, we handle delivery. Fourteen days after the gear arrives with the buyer, we settle with you. Our commission scales with the value of the unit — smaller items carry a higher rate to cover intake and listing time, high-value items carry a lower one.
Consignment terms
The single most common way consignment relationships go wrong is a term that gets renegotiated mid-deal. These are ours, in writing, before anything is listed.
Period
90 days. Then renewed at a new price, returned to you, or bought out by us.
Price ladder
No offers by day 30 → we drop 10%. Day 60 → another 10%. Day 90 → collect, renew, or buyout. No surprises.
Payout
14 days after delivery to the buyer. Not on sale. That window lets obvious issues surface before the money moves.
Withdrawal
R500 flat if you pull an item after it's been photographed and listed. Because that time costs us.
Full consignment agreement before anything is listed. Have your own lawyer read it — ours already has.
Ready to talk
We're based in Cape Town. Drop-offs and viewings by appointment. If you're outside the Western Cape, we do everything remotely — photos, video walkthrough, bank transfer.
